Job Description

As an Underwriter in the assigned branch/location, your Role Overview involves reviewing and assessing complex loan applications, conducting personal discussions with customers, maintaining Portfolio MIS, and ensuring adherence to credit policies and SLAs. Your Key Responsibilities include: - Reviewing and assessing a broad range of complex loan applications within defined guidelines - Conducting personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness and complete credit/KYC documents - Maintaining Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operations-related MIS of the cluster - Undertaking critical review of credit proposals to identify industry, business, financial, and management risks - Ensuring collateral and other credit risk mitigation measures are in place - Facilitating quick turnaround of credit lending proposals in liaison with the sales team - Managing the credit underwriting function of the branch and collaborating with local credit analysts and sales team Your Qualifications should include a Post Graduate or Graduate degree in any discipline.
