As a Retail Risk Operations Associate at Standard Chartered, your role will involve contributing to shaping the strategic direction of Retail Risk Operations and collaborating with in-country stakeholders to achieve strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include optimizing operating efficiency while ensuring the effectiveness of file processing, adhering to process standards, and leading process improvement initiatives through standardization, automation, and consolidation. You will also be expected to monitor operational risk metrics, identify Key Performance Indicators, and provide ongoing training and development for the team. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to shaping the Retail Risk Operations strategic direction - Optimize operating efficiency and file processing effectiveness - Ensure adherence to process standards and lead process improvement initiatives - Monitor operational risk metrics and identify Key Performance Indicators - Provide ongoing training and development for the team Qualifications Required: - MBA/CA qualified with a minimum of 2 years of experience - Proficiency in English and Hindi In addition to the core responsibilities, as a Retail Risk Operations Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing credit files, conducting risk analysis, managing reworks, validating reports, and preparing credit approval memos. You will also be expected to interact with key stakeholders such as the Country Retail Risk Head, policy team, business heads, auditors, regulators, and external suppliers.
