Role Overview

Creative Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-brief delivery.
• Edit raw footage into engaging video content by interpreting scripts, selecting key visuals, and arranging sequences.
• Enhance video quality using motion graphics, transitions, effects, and colour grading.
• Collaborate with creative leads, copywriters, and account managers to align on brand tone and storytelling.
• Implement feedback with attention to detail, ensuring technical excellence and narrative flow.
• Stay updated with video trends, social-first content formats, and new software tools to bring fresh thinking into every cut.
• Maintain consistency in branding, formatting, and overall output across content pieces.

Skills & Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in video editing for advertising/digital content.
• Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for detail.
• Proficient in motion graphics and 2D animation (essential).
• Working knowledge of Element 3D and camera tracking.
• Solid understanding of colour theory and visual design principles.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows, codecs, formats, importing/exporting, and transcoding.
• Ability to handle constructive feedback and work collaboratively in a creative environment.
