Job Description

The CAB Analysis team excel in the area of Strength & Durability, Passive Safety (Collision safety & Collision compatibility), NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), Multi-body Dynamics, Aerodynamics and Optimization Simulations. We drive product development activities through Innovation, Frugal Eng. andRobust simulation methods. Job description: Lead and Perform Passive safety simulations (Structure/ Occupant/ VRU/Driveline/ Electrical Safety) and design solution for Cabin, by evaluating proposed concepts and drive Cost effective, implementable design solutions through Cross Functional Collaboration Lead and develop Methods/Tools aligned to Automation, lead time reduction and physical validation reduction. Own Full Responsibility for Passive safety feature performance deliverables for company Product Portfolio An active member in Passive safety network within the company and contribute towards Strategies, Roadmap, Advanced Engineering activities and Method development. Ability to work in a Global and Multi-cultural Agile environment with an opportunity to be part of complete Vehicle development life cycle. Soft Skills: Demonstrate Leadership, Accountability and Commitment in securing Quality, Delivery and Product feature for all Passive safety related deliveries from Bangaluru. Excellent communication skills, Learning on fly, Team player, Emphasis on Detailing & Problem-solving skills. Qualification: Bachelors/ Masters degree in a Mechanical/Automotive Domain Expertise / Skill sets: 4-7 Years Experiencein performing Passive safety simulations and driving design though simulation Hand-on Expertise in CAE Tools like ANSA, Hyper Works, Primer, Metapost and LS Dyna Deep knowledge on Vehicle Safety regulations (ECE/FMVSS) and Consumer Metrics Protocols (NCAPs) Experience/exposure on Battery and Fuel cell Vehicle Technology is preferred. Knowledge of Optimization tools will be an added advantage. Exposure to Vehicle Safety regulations/Protocols and should have sound Automotive Vehicle development Process knowledge. Showcase high level of confidence in simulation results by adopting best practices, appropriate assumptions, and required simplifications. Also, suggest recommendations to solve issues. Perform correlation studies with respect to Physical test and support Certification through simulation, be in position to eliminate physical tests. Use data analytics tools focusing on data driven product development Perform optimization studies and a Mindset of continuous improvement/innovation supporting common methods and tools.
