Crane -Design Engineer

Educational Qualification B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Industrial / Production/ Automotive)

Experience-2-8 yrs

Job Location- Jamshedpur

Technical Skills -

Good Knowledge of Design and BOM generation - Experience in design and drafting of equipment/tooling/sheet metal/machining/structure/piping components - Experience in Steel Production System /IHM equivalent will be an added advantage. - Designing and Conduct Work content estimation - Understanding of key design concepts: DFM, DFA, DFS, Tolerance stack-up and clash check etc. - Knowledge of various types of limits and fits, - Knowledge of various material standards and their equivalent - Working in EOT Crane will be added advantage.

Tool Skills: - Creo 7.0 or higher version - Excel, Access, MS Office - PLM-windchill (added advantage)

Special Requirements: - Familiarity with manufacturability analysis, design projects, and release workflow Possess the ability to solve problems and take a decision quickly - Able to co-ordinate with multiple teams located at multiple locations - Ability to work with onsite contractors

Soft Skills - Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English - Team Player - Effective interpersonal skills - Have a good sense of responsibility and organizational skills

Relevant Experience (Min) 3 Years

Job Description - Works with Project team and site management team regarding managing various drawings, drawing checking, BOM preparation etc. - Checking Drawing attributes (as per checklist) like description, notes, weight, Material, size as per drawing BOM. Monitor, compile, and report Key Performance Initiative(s) (KPI) - Checking Design for manufacturability, assembly - Tolerance stack-up, clash check, Alternate material selection - Welding length and paint surface area calculation
