As a Country Head (Volunteer) for FounderHelpDesk, your role will involve acting as the local representative of the organization in Austria, Germany, Spain, and potentially other global regions. You will be responsible for connecting founders, universities, and innovation networks in your region to the global startup community. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and growing the FounderHelpDesk Community in your country or region. - Identifying and connecting with local startup founders, incubators, accelerators, and ecosystem partners. - Helping to organize virtual and on-ground meetups, learning sessions, and workshops. - Curating local startup stories and sharing insights from your ecosystem with the global FounderHelpDesk team. - Supporting local founders in accessing programs, resources, and mentorship. - Acting as the bridge between local innovation ecosystems and the global FounderHelpDesk network. To be successful in this role, you should be a professional or founder with experience in startups, innovation, or community leadership. You should be well-connected within your country's startup ecosystem or eager to explore it. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in German or Spanish is a plus. You should be motivated by learning, collaboration, and helping others build. By taking on this role, you will gain recognition as Country Head (Volunteer) for FounderHelpDesk in your region, access to the global FounderHelpDesk leadership network, exposure to international founders, mentors, and investors, experience in cross-border innovation, community building, and venture development, as well as opportunities to co-lead workshops and strategic initiatives. The time commitment is flexible, with an average of 4-6 hours per week.
