Counselor

About the Role:
Need Base India is looking for a compassionate and experienced Counsellor to join our team at CGH & CBH. The ideal candidate will support the emotional, social, and psychological development of our children, providing guidance, counselling, and interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for children and adults as required.
• Assess children's psychological and emotional needs, and develop personalized counselling plans.
• Support children and families through behavioural, emotional, and social interventions.
• Maintain detailed and confidential case records and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams, educators, and external professionals for holistic care.
• Conduct workshops, awareness sessions, and activities for emotional well-being.
• Travel to 2 locations in Bangalore

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Child Development.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in counselling, preferably in child or community settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills.
• Demonstrable experience in psychosocial assessment, individual and group therapy, and case management.

Salary: ₹40,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
