Job Title: School Counselor
Location: R.G.Gobal School, Near Police Station Kalkaji, New Delhi
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years (Preferred)

We are looking for a compassionate and qualified School Counselor to support the academic, emotional, and social development of our students. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping children and adolescents thrive, strong interpersonal skills, and a background in educational or child psychology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students on academic, personal, behavioral, and social issues.
• Identify students in need of support and develop action plans to assist them.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Organize workshops and awareness programs on mental health, career guidance, stress management, etc.
• Support students with learning difficulties, emotional challenges, and peer conflicts.
• Maintain confidential student records and ensure ethical and professional standards.
• Act as a bridge between students and school authorities in handling sensitive issues.
• Guide students through transitions such as moving from primary to secondary education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a school counselor or in a similar role (preferred).
• Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and mental health.
• Empathetic, approachable, and culturally sensitive.
• Ability to handle crisis situations and provide timely interventions.
