Job Title : Counsellor cum Operations Executive – Fertility Department : Fertility / Reproductive Medicine Reports To : Fertility Consultant / Clinic Manager Location : Ovum Hospital , Banashankari & HSR Experience Required : 2–5 years in fertility clinic or hospital (preferred) Job Summary : The Counsellor cum Operations Executive plays a dual role in offering patient counselling and coordinating day-to-day clinical operations for fertility services. This position is pivotal in ensuring smooth patient flow, emotional support for couples, and efficient backend coordination to support the fertility doctor and clinical team. Key Responsibilities : 1. Patient Counselling & Support Provide empathetic and clear counselling to patients/couples regarding fertility treatments, procedures, and options available. Assist in managing patient expectations, emotional well-being, and addressing concerns throughout their fertility journey. Educate patients on treatment protocols, medication usage, and timelines. Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive communication at all times. 2. Operational Coordination Support the fertility consultant in coordinating patient appointments, follow-ups, and treatment plans. Maintain proper documentation of patient records, consent forms, and treatment files. Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, and lab teams for timely execution of procedures. Monitor daily schedules and ensure minimal delays or operational gaps. 3. Administrative & Front Office Functions Ensure patient registrations, billing coordination, and pre-authorizations where applicable. Handle patient feedback and escalate issues when necessary. Prepare daily/weekly reports on patient consultations, treatment progress, and follow-ups. Key Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or equivalent. Certification in counselling (preferred) or relevant experience in a fertility clinic. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English & regional language).
