Cost Engineer- Electrical & Electronic

Role Overview: You will be responsible for sourcing and costing of Electrical and Electronic components in Saudi Arabia. Your main focus will be on zero-based costing for Automotive Lighting, Display & Infotainment Parts, PCBA, Bare PCB, HV/LV harness, Motor, Electrical Vehicle Parts. You will need to estimate the cost of Electrical and Electronics parts based on specifications and come up with cost optimization ideas using market references and competitive parts. Knowledge of costing software like TcPCM will be essential. Additionally, you will be required to work on pricing structure, BOM estimation, building supplier relationships, developing sourcing strategies, and supporting new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards. Key Responsibilities: - Specialist in Zero Based Costing for Automotive Lighting, Display & Infotainment Parts, PCBA, Bare PCB, HV/LV harness, Motor, Electrical Vehicle Parts - Make Electrical and Electronics part cost estimations based on specifications - Generate cost optimization ideas based on market reference and competitive parts - Utilize costing software like TcPCM - Work on pricing structure, BOM estimation, and building supplier relationships - Develop sourcing strategies to meet customer requirements - Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards - Implement various cost calculation techniques such as Zero-base costing, activity-based costing, directional costing etc. to estimate & budget component prices - Have knowledge of import & export incoterms - Calculate & analyze landed costs to various global zones - Monitor the readiness of parts and materials, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards - Coordinate the logistics and dispatch of parts, ensuring timely delivery to manufacturing units or job sites - Manage any issues related to part readiness or dispatch, resolving them promptly to avoid delays in the production process Qualification Required: - B.E. / B.
