Our client, India's leading importer and distributor of gourmet specialist foods, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team in the role of ZSM. With over twenty-five years of experience, our client has established itself as the largest food service company in India, specializing in Dairy, Charcuterie, Chocolates, and Bakery categories. Representing renowned international brands such as Arla, Zanneti, Lurpak, and more, the company boasts an extensive product portfolio for both food service and retail sectors. As the ZSM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the food service business vertical within HORECA. Reporting to the GM of Sales and the Director, you will be responsible for setting and achieving sales objectives, expanding market share, and leading a team of Regional & Sales Managers to drive strategic initiatives. To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of functional expertise and leadership capabilities, along with a collaborative approach to working with key functions such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. By surpassing revenue targets, building a top-class sales organization, and embodying Fortune's values, you may have the opportunity to advance to a higher leadership position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned zone, driving growth and profitability in the food service division. - Set annual sales targets, forecast sales volume, and ensure timely collection and profitability. - Foster strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and convert leads into customers. - Define performance criteria for the sales teams and provide continuous evaluation and support for their development. - Manage collections, reconcile accounts, and maintain credit control processes in alignment with financial objectives. Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in FMCG/Dairy/Chocolates, preferably with premium packaged food products. - MBA qualification or Full Time IHM is preferred. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. - Proven track record in distribution network management, institutional sales, and go-to-market strategy. - Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Associate Account Manager to focus on Business Development and Client Servicing, particularly within the Activations/Promotions segment and school contact programs. This role is crucial for generating business from both existing and new clients, ensuring seamless project execution, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. You will leverage your strong presentation and relationship-building skills to deliver customized business solutions and drive profitability. Key Responsibilities: Client Servicing & Business Development: Identify and network to generate business from existing accounts, ensuring profitability. Proactively follow up with clients for briefs on recurring activities. Map the needs of new brands/clients and generate new business from them. Meet with clients to gain a clear understanding of their ideas and finalize briefs. Coordinate with the Concept team to receive concepts within required timeframes and compile final presentations for client delivery. Receive designs from the Creative team and send them, along with the brief, to the Operations team for costing. Review cost sheets from Production, ensuring all elements laid out in the presentation are included. Meet with the client to finalize and close briefs. Ensure high client satisfaction and retention, with an ability to upsell additional services. Activity Execution & Post-Activity Closures: Coordinate with all stakeholders (creative, art, set design, etc.) to ensure the delivery of all activity elements as desired by the client. Oversee activities onsite to ensure smooth execution, client satisfaction, and overall production quality. Ensure all promises made to the client are delivered and address any client queries promptly. Manage onsite requirements: document additional client needs via the Onsite Requirements Form, get client approval, and hand it over to Operations. Ensure timely closure of Payment Advice (PA) in coordination with Production, verifying its accuracy. Send the approved PA to the MIS team for invoice generation, and subsequently send the invoice to the client. Key Account Management: Map key client requirements and provide them with customized business solutions. Identify and network with existing key accounts to generate business, achieve profitability, and drive increased sales growth. Create compelling concepts and marketing strategies tailored to brand requirements, after evaluating target markets. Compliance with Commercial & Internal Procedures: Adhere strictly to internal processes: ensure Purchase Orders (PO), Contracts, or Confirmation emails are raised before commencing any activity. Manage activity advances in compliance with the company's advance policy. Ensure all Weekly Reports and HOD Meeting Reports are sent to the Head of Department. Oversee billing to clients post-activity completion and diligently manage the collection of payments. Learning & Growth: Develop a deep understanding of assigned client brands. Prepare internal review and post-activity reports to facilitate continuous learning and improvement. Required Skills: Experience in client servicing with a focus on Activations/Promotions and school contact programs . Proven ability to build relationships at senior levels . Good client contacts in the corporate sector . Strong presentation skills . Creative and structured approach to concept selling and client relationship management . Ability to identify and network to generate business from existing and new accounts. Skills in mapping needs of new brands/clients and generating business. Proficiency in coordinating with internal teams (Concept, Creative, Operations, Production). Experience in checking cost sheets and ensuring all elements are accounted for. Ability to ensure client satisfaction and retention, and capable of upselling. Strong coordination skills for activity execution and overseeing production quality. Competency in managing post-activity closures, including payment advice and invoicing. Skills in mapping key client requirements and providing customized solutions. Adherence to commercial and internal procedures (PO/Contract, advance policy, reporting). Ability to prepare internal review/post-activity reports.
