As a Video Editor at our company, you will be responsible for creating Reels that are not only fun and visually engaging but also in line with current trends. You should be adept at editing quickly using various tools such as InShot, VN, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Instagram's native tools. It is essential to stay updated on Reels trends, audio loops, memes, and pop culture references, and incorporate them effectively into your work. In addition to Reels, you will also be involved in editing other types of video content such as interviews, founder videos, and campaign material. Collaboration with the content team and founders is a key aspect of this role to ensure that the stories are well-crafted, launched promptly, and have a significant impact. To excel in this position, you should possess a keen understanding of what resonates on social media, particularly on platforms like Instagram. Your editing skills should be quick and efficient, prioritizing speed, creativity, and relevance over the use of fancy software. While not mandatory, having at least 3 years of experience in short-form content or social-first video editing would be beneficial.
