Corporate Bank Technology Commercial Banking QA Engineer

As a Corporate Bank Technology Commercial Banking QA Engineer at Deutsche Bank, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of applications for Commercial Banking in order to achieve business goals. You will be involved in technical design, coding, automated unit testing, and integration. In cases where automation is not feasible, you will take over manual QA tasks, including TestCase creation, execution, and reporting. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Product Managers, software engineers, and testers to develop and implement product lines using various technologies. You will be a part of the Commercial Banking Tribe, focusing on the digital transformation of small and medium enterprise clients in Germany. This includes tasks such as developing digital sales and service processes, automation of processes, and migrating applications to the cloud. As a member of a cross-functional agile delivery team, you will contribute to all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis to production support. Your role will involve designing and developing automated tests for frontend and backend APIs, as well as conducting manual testing when automation is not yet available. You will collaborate with Testers, Business Stakeholders, Developers, and DevOps Engineers to ensure that test cases cover all relevant scenarios. To excel in this role, you should have a university degree with a technological or scientific focus, or equivalent working experience. Practical experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Karate, Cypress, and Postman is required. Good knowledge of Java, JavaScript/NodeJS, and CI environments like GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins is essential. Additionally, experience in manual software testing, excellent teamwork skills, and fluency in English communication are key attributes for success.
