This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 3-5 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Pune JobType: full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedTechnical Publication Engineerwith a minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts documentation, technical writing, and technical illustration within the automobile industry. The ideal candidate should be creative, imaginative, and possess strong interpersonal skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and tools related to technical publications. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Create, update, and manageSpare Parts Cataloguesin accordance with established workflows and industry standards. Develop and maintaintechnical manuals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with documentation norms. Generatetechnical illustrationsusing relevant software tools, adhering to industry-specific guidelines and visual communication best practices. Understand and managedocument-level serial numberingand revision tracking for accurate version control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and product management to gather technical information. Ensure consistency and quality across all technical content, including layout, terminology, and visual assets. UtilizeCAD and graphic design toolssuch as SolidWorks Composer, CorelDRAW, Creo, and AutoCAD for illustration and document creation. Work with systems such asSAP and PLMfor document and data management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of3 years experienceintechnical publications, specifically in the automotive sector. Hands-on experience intechnical writing, spare parts cataloguing, andillustration. Strong knowledge oftechnical publication standardsand best practices. Familiarity withSpare Parts Cataloguecreation processes. Proficient with tools such asSolidWorks Composer,CorelDRAW,Creo,AutoCAD, andSAP/PLMsystems. Good understanding ofdocument management, includingserial numbering and revision history. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
