Core Network Engineer

As a skilled IT professional, you will be responsible for installing and configuring operating systems such as Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, and newer versions. Your expertise should include knowledge of MS Exchange versions 2008, 2013, 2016, 2019, or above, along with awareness of various server types from manufacturers like Dell, HP, and others. Troubleshooting server operating systems and monitoring antivirus solutions will be a key part of your role. In addition to OS management, you will be tasked with configuring MS Outlook, managing backups using software like Veritas, VEEM, or AVAMAR, and ensuring all software and antivirus programs are correctly installed and updated. Proficiency in O365 installation and domain management, including Active Directory, is essential for success in this position. Your technical skills should encompass switching with capacity planning and VLANs, routing involving static and dynamic routing, and network security, including hands-on experience in firewall configuration. Familiarity with security software like anti-virus, anti-SPAM, anti-spyware, and related technologies is crucial. Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as NAGIOS, backup solutions like Backup Exec, and virtualization technologies including VMware and Microsoft will be advantageous.
