As an EY Assurance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in building a better working world by developing relationships with global EY teams, supervising GDS engagement management support, and carrying out routine substantive and controls-based assurance testing for the Europe or US region during the financial year end. **Key Responsibilities:** - Clearly and accurately document specific review procedures defined by engagement teams. - Demonstrate a basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues. - Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client's business. - Identify potential review issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of financial statements and communicate them to the immediate supervisor. - Collaborate with seniors and engagement teams to set goals and responsibilities. - Deliver work in line with designated methodology, project plan, or process in accordance with EY standards. - Maintain professionalism, competence, and clarity of communication with team members. - Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to team requests, and develop productive working relationships with team contacts. - Challenge procedures used in the past by team members and suggest ideas for improvement. - Contribute ideas/opinions to assurance teams and listen/respond to other team members" views. - Use technology to learn continually, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. - Promote EY's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality. **Skills and Attributes for Success:** - Confident and outgoing individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure high-quality work consistently. - Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping. - Ability to communicate effectively with leaders and peers. - Strong planning and issue anticipation skills. - Good written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team. **Qualifications Required:** - Candidates with CA Completed/CA Inter with Articleship completed. - 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience preferred. **Additional Details:** EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network operating in six locations worldwide.
