As a Copy Editor at Down To Earth, you will play a crucial role in managing operations on the website. The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following qualifications and experience: - Must have at least 3-5 years of experience working in a digital/print newsroom. - Should ensure sharp story-telling in a language suitable for digital readership. - Must possess an eye for analytical reportage and be prompt in reporting developing stories. - Should be comfortable with social media; familiarity with SEO and key-wording is an added advantage. - Ability to anchor news stories and construct copy from scratch with a quick turn-around time. - Up-to-date with the latest technology relevant to the digital world. - Skillful in adapting stories for web and multimedia platforms.
