Role Overview: As a Ingredientes y Formulacin Specialist at the Silao plant, your objective is to implement new ingredient developments sustainably and ensure efficient production at a competitive cost with the required quality standards for the Mexican, Central American, and Caribbean markets. You will manage projects, develop new ingredients and suppliers, support audits, provide technical training, oversee formulation processes, and contribute to problem-solving and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and execute R&D and Technical projects aligned with established briefs and market methodology to support market objectives and strategy. - Develop and approve new ingredients and suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing, Quality, and Ingredient Coordination to ensure operational continuity, new product launches, and accurate raw material specifications. - Support supplier audits with the Quality team to ensure material reliability, coordinate new ingredient trials, and guide stakeholders on necessary adjustments. - Provide technical training on formulation and ingredients to operational employees, ensure availability of training materials in physical and digital formats. - Responsible for the formulation process and related tools (FORMAT, CPS), as well as preparing raw material summaries and formula budgets. - Collaborate with the regulatory team to review ingredient lists in the MXPLD and RPLD, ensuring compliance with ingredient glossaries and regional launch strategies. - Support operations in problem-solving and improvement projects. Qualifications Required: - 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Processes, Ingredients, Audits, and Formulation. - Knowledge of Dry Pet Food production processes, improvement methodologies, project management, and supplier audits. - Bachelor's degree in Chemical/ Food/ Industrial Engineering, Biochemistry, Agronomy, or related fields. - Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. - Proficiency in Minitab, Microsoft Project Professional, SAP, Microsoft Office.
