Controllers - RORG - Associate - Bengaluru

As a Controller at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial control and reporting obligations of the firm are met. Your responsibilities will include: - Measuring the profitability and risks associated with various aspects of the firm's business - Ensuring that the firm's activities comply with regulations governing financial markets transactions In the Regulatory Obligations Review Group (RORG), you will be responsible for: - Developing an understanding of the firm's regulatory reporting requirements - Conducting independent reviews of regulatory reports filed by the Firm - Assessing the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls - Providing effective challenge of stakeholder processes and outcomes Preferred Qualifications: - Attention to detail and strong excel, analytical & organizational skills - Proactive with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and multitasking skills - Interest in developing a solid understanding of financial markets/products and regulatory reporting landscape Basic Qualifications: - Chartered Accountants/Certified Public Accountant/equivalent degree - Public or internal audit experience in the Financial Services sector - Quality Assurance experience - Understanding of U.S. Regulatory Reporting,
