You will be part of the Finance, Market, and Credit Risk Technology (FMCRT) team at Citi, where you will be contributing to pushing the limits of technology. Your role as a senior Java Fullstack Developer will involve working independently on scalable web applications and complex backend systems. Here's what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using Java Backend and modern front-end technologies like Angular, React, etc. Additionally, you will develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and applications using Java and the Spring framework. You will implement responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and Angular. Furthermore, you will utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized tools to manage and deploy microservices. Monitoring microservices performance and security, proactively fixing issues, or optimizing services will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating closely with the devops team to build, deploy, and manage applications in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, or equivalent is also expected from you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java Backend and modern front-end technologies like Angular, React, etc. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and applications using Java and Spring framework. - Implement responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, etc). - Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized tools to manage and deploy microservices. - Monitor microservices performance and security, and proactively fix issues or optimize services. - Work closely with the devops team to build, deploy, and manage applications in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, or equivalent. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development with Financial Service industry preferred - Strong in Java 8+ Concepts & Hands-on coding skills in Java 8 and higher version - Working knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST API, Hibernate - Understanding of test-driven development using Junit, Mockito - Hands-on understanding of Relational database like Oracle, PL/SQL and No-SQL databases like MongoDB - Experience developing in technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, NodeJS, Git - Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques The preferred skills and qualifications include relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Agile or Scrum), experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, and Docker), and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with good teamwork capabilities.
