Control Systems Programmer

As a talented full-time Control Systems Programmer with at least 5 years of experience in executing industrial, electrical utility, and municipal water/wastewater control software automation projects, you will play a crucial role in programming and deploying PLC/SCADA/Historians. You must be eligible to work on-site in a Middle Eastern country for at least 6 months. Your responsibilities will include working with new technologies like MQTT, IIOT, shopfloor networks, MES, etc., and developing advanced PLC control logic and SCADA applications using technologies such as Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, and GE. Key Responsibilities: - Write new system application PLC/SCADA program code based on specific Customer standards and requirements. - Develop, test, and deploy SCADA programming, databases, and graphic screens using software like Proficy iFix, Rockwell Factory View, Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition. - Develop FAT/SAT documentation and execute FAT/SAT for projects as per specifications. - Analyze program performance, identify deficiencies, and consult with end users for improvements. - Maintain an out-of-scope log for project extras and document programming and project information. - Provide training and mentorship to junior programming resources and estimate programming effort for new projects. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of electrical utilities, municipal water and wastewater processes, and industrial manufacturing automation controls. - Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, process & instrumentation drawings and control system project specifications. - Familiarity with CSA/UL/CE standards is advantageous. - Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. - Proficiency in MS Office software and documenting work. - Skills in negotiation, communication, teamwork, customer service, planning, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail. - Preferably hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
