Contract Solicitor

As a Legal professional at Hinduja Tech, you will be responsible for providing support, advice, and negotiation on various aspects of contract law, with a focus on customer and supplier contracts, as well as employee and other legal documentation. Your role will involve: - Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, agreements, and commercial documentation. - Supporting Commercial, Finance/Purchasing, and HR teams by offering legal support for customer, supplier, and employee contracts. You will assist the commercial team throughout different project stages, including proposals, tenders, contract negotiation, and contract delivery. - Providing guidance on managing disputes and claims with customers and suppliers, aiming to minimize the need for external advisors. - Serving as the primary point of contact for internal queries related to client terms or supplier contracts. - Offering high-quality and accurate legal advice to all Commercial and Operational segments of the UK business. - Ensuring legal compliance with GDPR regulations. - Reviewing and updating company Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and ensuring their enforcement when necessary. - Continuously reviewing terms and conditions agreed upon with customers and suppliers to maintain compliance and relevance as the business expands. - Collaborating with US legal counsel and external solicitors to address specialized issues. - Actively engaging in continuous professional and personal development activities and sharing knowledge across the organization. The ideal candidate for this role should possess: - 5 to 8 years of experience in the legal field. - A Law Degree or CILEx qualification.
