Contract Engineers

As a Contract Engineer for the Project Management Consultancy Services (PMC) for Construction of Double line electrified Railway Track with signalling and telecommunication system and related infrastructure for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project in New Delhi, your responsibilities will include: - Independently handle EOT, DAB and Arbitration cases - Administer the PMC contract based on FIDIC conditions - Assist various departments relating to various contract provision - Draft contractual letters to the contractor and reply to the letters received from the contractor - Prepare contracts, including SOC (Statement of Claims), rejoinder, etc. - Meet deadlines set by the Project Director / Dy. Project Director/ Chief Contracts Administrator - Handle contract administration & commercial tasks such as Client billing, Escalation, Variation orders, dealing with Contractual clauses, claims, rate analysis for extra items as per FIDIC - Support Chief Contract Administrator/Sr. Contract Manager/Contract Manager in all contractual matters within the targets set by him Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience - Minimum 3 years of continuous experience managing contracts related to transport infrastructure works including Variation/Claims/EOT - Fully conversant with FIDIC Conditions of Contract Please note that the employment type for this position is contractual initially, with a duration of 12 months, extendable.,
