Contract, Bid, and Proposal Management Entry Level Professional

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) as an Entry Professional (P1) with a focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, and more. Your main responsibility will be to administrate, consult, and negotiate product/service contracts with external customers. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to develop pre-sales contract strategies and structure proposals/contracts/bid documents to ensure they align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for customers. - Collaborate with the Sales support team to offer solutions to country/region-specific customers. - Analyze customer needs through general market information and input from Service FES/Territory Managers. - Ensure all proposals adhere to relevant Hitachi Energy Procedures and guidelines. - Review and analyze technical documents and requirements for Offers/Quotations, identifying scope of supply, product configuration, technical deviations, and preparing necessary documents. - Support ASMs during Offers/Quotations process for proper follow-up and answers during clarification. - Coordinate with multiple functions like Design, Project Management, SCM, etc., as part of tendering activities. - Conduct cost analysis and Lost proposal analysis to improve future offerings. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity in all actions and interactions. Qualifications Required: - Electrical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of professional work experience in GIS, EPC, or high/medium voltage electrical product sales & tendering. - Proficiency in preparing and supporting Offer/Quotation Process. - Familiarity with Sales/tendering tools. - Knowledge of Power Grid Market & System offerings. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
