Job Description

The Continental Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality continental cuisine in accordance with the restaurant’s or hotel’s standards. The role involves maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring timely preparation of dishes, and contributing to menu innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes, including starters, mains, and desserts.
  • Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications as directed by the Chef de Parties or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets the required quality and portion standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen area.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in developing and testing new continental menu items.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Minimize wastage and optimize the use of kitchen resources.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
