Train junior kitchen staff in continental cooking techniques when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Continental Chef, Commis Chef, or similar role in a café, hotel, or restaurant. Knowledge of continental cuisine techniques (grilling, sautéing, baking, pasta making, salad preparation). Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking appliances. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced café environment. Strong sense of plating aesthetics and creativity. Basic knowledge of inventory control and waste management.
