The opportunity:

We're looking for a writer who can transform the complex, often dry world of cross border hiring and employment compliance into stories that people actually want to read. Not SEO stuffed articles. Not keyword heavy blog posts. Real, engaging narratives that educate, resonate, and stick with readers long after they've closed the tab.

You'll be telling the stories of founders navigating their first international hire, HR leaders wrestling with multi country compliance, and companies taking their first steps into Asia Pacific markets. You'll turn intricate labor laws into accessible narratives, payroll complexities into clear explanations, and compliance challenges into compelling case studies that read like stories, not textbooks.

What you'll do:

• Write stories, not just content:

  Create articles, guidebooks, case studies, and social posts that people genuinely enjoy reading, even when the topics are complex

• Master the art of simplification:

  Take intricate compliance topics, labor regulations, and HR challenges and translate them into narratives that anyone can understand and find engaging

• Research deeply:

  Dive into Asia Pacific labor laws, hiring trends, tax requirements, and employment policies across India, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia, then emerge with clear, compelling stories

• Develop your unique voice while staying true to the brand:

  Adapt your storytelling style across formats while maintaining authenticity and engagement

• Own your craft:

  Take complete ownership of content projects from concept to publication, with the creative freedom to make them exceptional

• Interview and synthesize:

  Talk to our team's experts and transform their technical knowledge into accessible, engaging narratives

• Stay curious:

  Keep up with industry trends, but focus on finding the human stories behind the headlines

  You can make any topic engaging. You know how to hook readers, build narrative tension, and deliver insights that make people think I never thought about it that way

• Exceptional writing skills:

  Impeccable grammar, rich vocabulary, and most importantly, the ability to write content that people can't stop reading

  Share examples of writing that demonstrates your storytelling ability. We want to see work that made people stop scrolling and start reading

  You can dive into unfamiliar, technical topics and emerge with narratives that are both accurate and compelling

  Bangalore office, 5 days a week

• Hours:

  10 AM 7 PM IST Mon - Fri

• Must provide:

  Portfolio of previous writing work with your application that demonstrates your storytelling ability

Compensation structure:

• Probation period:

  ?70,000/month for the first 3 months

• Post-probation:

  ?1,00,000/month (fixed)
