As the Content Quality & Author Relations Manager for one of Weekday's clients located in Surat, you will be entrusted with a crucial role in overseeing the content review process, ensuring adherence to editorial standards, and fostering enduring relationships with authors. Your primary responsibility will revolve around upholding the quality, consistency, and integrity of the indexed content while actively engaging with authors to guide them through their publication journey. In terms of Author Relations & Engagement, you will be expected to forge and nurture robust, collaborative relationships with authors, contributors, and subject matter experts. Serving as the main point of contact for authors, you will offer them guidance on editorial procedures, timelines, and content expectations. Moreover, you will aid both new and existing authors in comprehending platform guidelines, content formats, and quality standards, addressing their queries, and resolving issues related to content submission and feedback. Furthermore, your role will entail conducting thorough assessments of submitted content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines. You will be responsible for performing meticulous quality checks on content drafts, ensuring proper formatting, grammar, style, and factual correctness. Offering actionable feedback to authors to bolster content quality and align it with platform standards will also be a key aspect of your responsibility. Additionally, you will oversee the timely and accurate processing of revisions and corrections. Collaborating with the indexing team, you will ensure the accurate indexing and categorization of all content. You will also be tasked with verifying metadata accuracy and completeness to enhance discoverability and user experience. Supporting the implementation of best practices in content tagging, classification, and indexing will also fall under your purview. In terms of Continuous Improvement & Collaboration, you will be expected to monitor content performance, identify avenues for enhancing quality and engagement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as content strategy, marketing, and technology to enhance the author experience and content processes. Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in content quality management and digital indexing will be imperative for this role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Publishing, Journalism, or a related field, along with 3-6 years of experience in content management, editorial, or publishing roles focusing on quality assurance and author relations. Demonstrated proficiency in managing relationships with authors or external contributors, meticulous attention to detail, excellent content review, editing, and fact-checking skills, familiarity with indexing practices and digital content categorization, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with content management systems (CMS), indexing tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite are essential requirements. Experience working with a publishing platform, digital library, academic journal, or content aggregation service, as well as knowledge of indexing standards like DOI and metadata schemas, are considered advantageous.,
