As a Technical Project Manager for Cloud Migrations, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cloud migration projects. Your role will involve managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. It is crucial to have a good technical understanding of cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with knowledge of various migration strategies like rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring. Experience with Agile methodologies is essential for this role. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors, utilizing your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud migration tools and relevant certifications such as OCI Certification, AWS, or Azure certification. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects. As a Technical Project Manager, having a PMP certification is highly desirable. This role is classified as IC3 in terms of career level. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all aspects of cloud projects, overseeing them from initiation to closure. - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while considering technical complexities and dependencies. - Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including engineers, architects, and developers. - Identify and address technical risks and issues in a timely manner. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Manage the technical aspects of vendor relationships. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management. - Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
