Description
Work as a part of the delivery team and be involved in project management, stakeholder engagement, document reviews, client interviews, process walk-throughs, developing solutions and drafting reports and leading complete projects for other clients. Be involved in engagements relating to assessing AFC risks at the enterprise and business unit level, drafting and enhancing policies and procedures, conducting compliance assessments, internal controls assessments and digital transformation initiatives Work with diverse teams to come up with the most optimal solutions to client issues Support project leads / coaches in executing various transformation driven consulting engagements Build & establish trust with your clients & business partners to better serve their organizations Obtain experience in process improvement analysis, business process re-engineering, and delivery/ implementation of large technology solutions. Conduct required project specific research, data analysis, templates & reports Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products Present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members Assist in proposal development and business development initiatives Actively support in ongoing research & contributing to thought leadership Be encouraged to explore different competency areas to discover your personal strengths / interest areas. Be provided a variety of formal and informal training programs to help you acquire and build specialized skills faster. Technical Around 3-5 years of consulting or industry experience in AFC focused roles Bachelor s / Master s degree or Chartered Accountant Subject matter focus in FCC space (AML, Economic Sanctions) and regulations as they apply to financial institutions Ability to interpret Financial Crime regulations and requirements to clients on regulatory, transactional and documentation issues AFC specific certifications such as ACAMS / CFE / CGSS etc. would be preferred Prior experience in conducting FCC risk assessments, program reviews for regulated entities, preferably Banks. Risk assessment experience should ideally span both design & operating effectiveness testing. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: o Designing and deploying fit-for-purpose AFC risk strategy o Conducting various diagnostic reviews to optimise risks o Conducting enterprise AFC risk assessments including design & operating effectiveness o Fact finding reviews for regulated entities, preferably Banks and / or Insurers. o Drafting and/or updating policies, procedures & standards. o AFC technology upgradation / deployment o AFC rule engine optimisation Exposure to global regulatory requirements FinCen, FCA and MSA would be a plus. Prior experience in drafting gap assessment reports / finding reports Exposure and knowledge of the operating frameworks of CRR, TMS, Identity Screening & transaction screening systems Functional Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, ability to quickly understand and leverage information, conceptual and creative problem-solving excellence. Tech-driven mindset, and up to date with digital and technology literature and trends in the domain Excellent communications skills in English and ability to articulate problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team and an inclusive environment Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project Comfortable with ambiguous / dynamic situations Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
