Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, and autoimmune conditions. Provide expert consultations and care plans for inpatients and outpatients. Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, ECGs, and biopsies. Coordinate care with other specialists (e.g., cardiologists, nephrologists, neurologists) for patients with complex multi-system diseases. Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies as necessary. Lead and participate in medical ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Adhere to evidence-based medical practices and clinical guidelines. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Participate in hospital governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continued medical education (CME).
