Consultant - Java Full Stack Engineer

As a Data Consultant at Vivanti, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and architecture needed for data collection, storage, and analysis. Your role will involve ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and secure for data scientists and analysts, playing a crucial part in driving digital change. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and interactive frontends - Optimize and manage relational databases, including writing performant SQL queries, designing schemas, tuning indexes, and troubleshooting joins/subqueries - Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and data/cloud trends to drive continuous improvement - Support solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle, from design workshops to production maintenance Qualifications Required: - 6 - 12 years of full-stack development experience - Proficiency in Java-based backend frameworks such as Quarkus, Spring Boot, etc. - Frontend expertise in Vite, Svelte, React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets - Experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB - Strong foundation in application security, testing (unit/integration), and CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven patterns like Kafka, RabbitMQ - Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Additional Details: At Vivanti, we value breadth in skills and believe in having fun while working together.
