Role Overview: Vivanti is seeking a Data Consultant to join their team. As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and architecture for data collection, storage, and analysis. Your role is crucial in ensuring the accessibility, reliability, and security of data for data scientists and analysts. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and interactive frontends - Optimize and manage relational databases, including writing performant SQL queries, designing schemas, tuning indexes, and troubleshooting joins/subqueries - Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and data/cloud trends to drive continuous improvement - Provide support for solution delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, from design workshops to production maintenance Qualifications Required: - 6 - 12 years of full-stack development experience - Proficiency in Java-based backend frameworks such as Quarkus, Spring Boot, etc. - Frontend expertise in technologies like Vite, Svelte, React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets - Experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB - Strong foundation in application security, testing (unit/integration), and CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven patterns like Kafka and RabbitMQ - Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Additional Company Details (if available): Vivanti was founded with a mission to transform businesses and create a smarter, more connected world through the power of data and technology.
