Manage and optimize ServiceNow ITOM Event Management - including event ingestion, alert correlation, and root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain integrations with monitoring tools using MID Servers, Agent Client Collectors, and custom scripts.
Develop and maintain check definitions, check instances, and alert polices for Agent Client Collectors.
Build and fine-tune alert rules, event filters, and correlation logic to reduce noise and improve actionable insights.
Create automated workflows and remediation scripts for repetitive operational events.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and service management teams to ensure monitoring coverage and event health.
Develop custom dashboards, reports, and performance analytics to support proactive IT operations.
Troubleshoot issues in event flows, integrations, Agent Client Collectors, MID Servers, and ServiceNow ITOM modules.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training, certified in relevant technologies, with good years of experience.
Good years of experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM), Event Monitoring, or ServiceNow Event Management.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Shell for automation and integrations.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SENSU, SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, LogicMonitor, CloudWatch, etc.).
Familiarity with CMDB, and Service Mapping.
Understanding of event correlation, alert automation, and root cause analysis concepts.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (especially Event, Incident, and Problem Management).
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
