Consultant - IT (Desktop Engineer)

You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying hardware and software to users both locally and remotely. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving problems related to the operation of PCs on the network, as well as troubleshooting and repairing break/fix issues. Additionally, you will be configuring, troubleshooting, and providing support for Video Conferencing systems used for corporate broadcasts. As part of your duties, you will need to provide solutions to user issues by identifying problems, researching answers, and assisting in their implementation. You will also play a key role in training users in basic problem resolution and teaching them how to effectively utilize their PCs. Responding to user requests and service issues in a timely and professional manner will be essential, along with providing support via phone using remote support software. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating, monitoring, updating, and closing tickets using the Service Now ticketing system. It is crucial to adhere to Black Box corporate, technology, and security policies at all times while carrying out your daily functions. Staying up-to-date on technical and operational details concerning PC products and support will also be a part of your regular tasks.,
