Consultant General Physician

Key Responsibilities:

1. ICU & Emergency Management

• Attend all

  ICU-related emergencies

  and perform critical emergency procedures.
• Ensure timely diagnosis and stabilization of high-risk patients.
  

2. Pre-Operative Fitness & Assessment

• Conduct thorough

  pre-operative evaluations

  and certify surgical fitness.
• Coordinate with surgical teams for clearance in a time-bound manner.
  

3. Post-Operative Recovery Oversight

• Monitor and manage

  post-operative patient recovery

  , ensuring smooth transition from ICU to wards.
• Define and execute recovery protocols and discharge criteria.
  

4. IPD & OPD Clinical Responsibilities

• Take

  daily rounds

  of all

  IPD patients

  under the medicine department.
• Provide

  dedicated OPD consultations

  and admit patients requiring in-patient medical care.

5. Clinical Protocols & Drug Management

• Formulate and standardize

  drug protocols

  across departments.
• Lead quality initiatives to ensure

  99.9% recovery benchmarks

  are achieved through evidence-based treatment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:

  MD / DNB in General Medicine or Internal Medicine (Critical Care experience preferred)

• Experience:

  Minimum 3 years post-PG preferred, especially in ICU and multi-specialty setup

• Skills:

  Strong decision-making, team coordination, patient communication, protocol development
