Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Diagnose and manage common and complex medical conditions across various specialties.
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including conducting physical exams, taking patient histories, and ordering diagnostic tests.
Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and therapies.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as necessary, and offer follow-up care.

Clinical Expertise:

Provide expert consultation in the field of General Medicine, including emergency medical care.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated with the latest clinical practices, medical advancements, and treatment protocols.

NABH Compliance:

Ensure all medical practices comply with NABH standards and protocols.
Participate in regular quality assurance and safety audits to maintain hospital accreditation.
Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical medical practices.

Medical Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of medical reports.

Emergency Care:

Provide emergency care during medical crises or unforeseen patient conditions.
Handle critical cases as part of the hospital's emergency response team.
