• Strong hands-on experience (7+ years) in

  Core Mainframe technologies

  COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM.

• Proven experience in

  mainframe re-hosting/migration projects

• Practical exposure to

  Raincode

  for code modifications, compilation, debugging, and unit testing of batch and online components.

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, modify, and maintain mainframe batch and online applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.


• Work on

  mainframe migration/re-hosting initiatives

  perform code conversion, enhancement, testing, and validation on the

  Raincode platform

  .


• Conduct detailed

  impact analysis

  for change requests and understand technical design specifications.


• Implement enhancements and support ongoing development following

  SDLC best practices

  .


• Perform

  SIT/UAT defect analysis

  , troubleshoot issues, and provide timely fixes.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision and demonstrate the ability to

  work independently

  .


• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and client representatives.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of

  IMS DB/DC
