As a member of the Colt DCS team, you will be responsible for supporting Senior Financial Analysts and Managers in various areas such as business strategy, go-to-market strategy, spending initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual planning. You will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to plan, measure, and forecast the business effectively. Your participation in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis processes will be essential for the success of the team. Additionally, you will be analyzing and reporting on current and past financial data to track financial performance and identify trends. Key Responsibilities: - Support Senior Financial Analysts and Managers in areas such as business strategy, go-to-market strategy, spending initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual planning. - Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to plan, measure, and forecast the business. - Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis processes. - Analyze and report on current and past financial data, tracking financial performance and identifying trends. - Assist in the month-end close process by preparing recurring, standard, and ad-hoc reports, researching general ledger activities, and variances to budget and prior year. - Aid in the development of budgets and forecasts, producing KPI reporting and root cause trends in KPIs. - Prepare insights for variances and key reviews, running small-sized projects to enhance data-driven insights or improve company efficiency. In order to excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
