Consultant Anaesthesiologist

Key Responsibilities of an Anesthesiologist:

• Administering anesthesia:They determine the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia (general, regional, or sedation) based on the patient's needs.
• Monitoring patient status:They continuously monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing, to ensure patient safety and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Managing pain:They provide pain relief during and after procedures, using various techniques to minimize discomfort and promote recovery.
• Pre-operative assessment:They evaluate patients before surgery to identify any potential risks or complications and develop an appropriate anesthetic plan.
• Post-operative care:They monitor patients after surgery, manage pain, and address any potential complications related to anesthesia.
• Pain management:They may also specialize in managing acute and chronic pain conditions outside of the surgical setting.
• Resuscitation:They are trained to handle emergencies and perform resuscitation procedures if necessary.
• Respiratory therapy:They manage and support patients' respiratory function during and after procedures.

Pay: ₹69,290.65 - ₹100,520.27 per month
