Construction Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in building structures, operating machinery, and following blueprints under the supervision of foremen and project managers. This role involves both physical labor and an understanding of construction techniques to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction tasks including digging, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup.
• Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and jackhammers.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work according to blueprints and construction plans.
• Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Ensure tools and materials are stored properly and the site is kept safe and organized.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear protective gear at all times.
• Report any hazards or incidents to the site supervisor.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a construction worker or similar role is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings is preferred.
• Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Good understanding of basic safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor construction sites.
• May involve working at heights, confined spaces, and with heavy machinery.
