Construction Engineer Civil

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to area grading and land development. Your key responsibilities will include studying plot plans and lay out drawings, coordinating with surveyors to establish plot boundaries and initial RL, and managing cutting/filling work. You will also be required to send soil samples for testing, conduct field compaction tests, and ensure proper compaction utilization of resources. Additionally, you will need to check the compaction, mobilization of resources by contractors, filling layers, cutting/filling activities, and verify contractors" DPR. It will be your duty to ensure day-to-day execution, adherence to project standards and specifications, and the correctness of rebar bending. You must also inspect rebar binding work, formwork, scaffolding, staging, handrails, ladder fixing for work at heights, and the proper compaction of concreting. Moreover, you will be responsible for checking field quality testing of concreting, cube sampling, surface rendering, finishing for concrete, fireproof surface, and the position of embedded items before concrete pouring. Your role will also involve ensuring proper compaction of backfilling and curing processes. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering along with 6-8 years of experience for degree holders and 14-16 years of experience for diploma holders. Experience in Refinery/Petrochemical construction is desirable. In addition to your educational background and experience, you should possess knowledge in general plant and equipment layout, area development layout, concrete technology, scaffolding, staging, formwork safety, basic surveying and leveling, underground layout, safety precautions in excavation work, fireproofing materials and methodology, and different symbols used in civil drawings.,
