Job Description

As an experienced Construction Consultant at our construction audit consulting firm, you will be responsible for managing individual construction audit assignments. You will be involved in a variety of tasks such as Contract Administration, Planning, Billing, Coordination, and Budgeting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage individual construction audit assignments related to Contract Administration, Planning, Billing, Coordination, and Budgeting. - Conduct Construction Project Audits to assess project performance, budget adherence, quality standards, and compliance with project specifications and contractual terms. - Independently evaluate, plan, perform, summarize, and communicate assigned risk assessments and audit activities using a risk-based approach. - Utilize quantitative analysis to assess a contractor's cost compliance with contract terms focusing on labor costs, Subcontractor costs, insurance costs, change order costs, and other areas of leakage. - Evaluate project profitability, cost efficiency, and financial health. - Analyze cost data and provide concise and accurate conclusions reached from quantitative analysis. - Understand construction contracts to assist in validation of allowable costs. - Perform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billings reviews, negotiate and facilitate cost recoveries with management, suppliers, and contractors. - Recommend opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement. - Collaborate with project teams to monitor project budgets, forecast costs, analyze variance, and support client requests regarding internal control assessments, process evaluations, special investigations, and internal control education. - Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate and monitor financial and operational risks. - Prepare and deliver written and oral reports, communications, and presentations to management presenting observations and recommendations. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree (B.Tech construction/M.Tech/MBA construction preferred) - PMP certification is a plus - 3-6 years of experience in Civil/audit/Site engineering - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Excellent verbal and exceptional English written communication skills - Ability to support Eastern Time Zone calls and working hours as needed Please note that immediate joiners are preferred for this position.,
