Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in stenography and operation of a stenotype machine. Excellent listening skills and ability to type quickly and accurately at high speeds. Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures (for legal stenographers). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good command of English language, including grammar and punctuation.
