Job Description

As a Computer Scientist - II at Adobe's CoreTech Color & Graphics team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain core libraries that power color and graphics-related features in Adobe desktop, mobile, and web offerings. Your work will have a strong impact on multiple products within the organization, contributing to a cohesive experience across the Adobe ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with various product teams to understand their needs and deliver required solutions. Additionally, you will comprehend, debug, and re-architect complex legacy codebases to enhance performance and maintainability. Moreover, you will work with cross-functional teams to invent and implement new features, ensuring value for end-users and enhancing library performance. Continuous improvement of code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain core libraries for color and graphics-related features - Collaborate with product teams to deliver required solutions - Comprehend, debug, and re-architect complex legacy codebases - Invent and implement new features to enhance end-user value and library performance - Ensure flawless execution of software development processes - Improve code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field from a prestigious institution or equivalent experience - 6-9 years of software development experience - Proficiency in C and C++ - Experience with large, complex codebases, preferably in color management and computer graphics domain - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment **Good to have:** - Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript - Experience with Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow - Experience working with AI coding assistants to enhance productivity If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation to navigate the Adobe website or complete the application process, please email accommodations@adobe.com or call (408) 536-3015.,
