Computer Science Tech Faculty

Job Role :

To teach and guide students in Database Management Systems (DBMS) concepts, tools, and applications, ensuring they gain strong theoretical understanding and practical skills relevant to current industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions on DBMS and related subjects (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL).
  
• Prepare course materials, assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with the academic curriculum.
  
• Guide students in database design, normalization, query optimization, and real-time database implementation.
  
• Stay updated with emerging database technologies (e.g., NoSQL, MongoDB, cloud databases) and incorporate relevant content into teaching.
  
• Mentor students in academic and project work, encouraging participation in competitions or certifications.
  
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records as per institutional policy.
  
• Collaborate with peers to continuously improve teaching methodologies and course content.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL programming.
  
• Hands-on experience with one or more RDBMS tools (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  
• Good communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for student understanding.
  
• Familiarity with online teaching tools or LMS platforms (preferred).
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• M.Tech / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related discipline.
  
• Minimum 25 years of teaching or industry experience in DBMS and related technologies.
  
• Certifications in database management (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Developer) would be an advantage.
