Job Description

A computer operator with MS Office skills (excel knowledge)manages and maintains computer systems, performing data entry, preparing documents, and handling administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Key responsibilities include accurate data input and verification, system monitoring and backups, troubleshooting basic technical issues, maintaining records, and ensuring data security and confidentiality. Essential qualifications include proficiency in the MS Office suite, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and effective communication. Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Inputting, verifying, and maintaining data accurately in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Document Preparation: Creating and formatting documents using Microsoft Word, such as reports, letters, and presentations.
  • System Operation: Operating computer systems and related equipment, including printers and scanners.
  • File & Record Keeping: Organizing and managing digital files and folders, and maintaining accurate operational and administrative records.
  • Technical Support: Monitoring system performance, performing routine backups, and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Administrative Support: Handling tasks like scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing office supply inventory.
  • Security & Confidentiality: Ensuring the security and privacy of computer systems, networks, and sensitive data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Data Entry: High accuracy and speed in data entry and verification.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
