Job Description

As a Computer Hardware Technician/Engineer at our company located in Sure 60 Murthal, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems and hardware components. Your role will involve a deep understanding of hardware architecture, troubleshooting methods, and providing technical hardware support to internal teams. You will be tasked with installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop computers, servers, printers, and other hardware. Additionally, diagnosing and resolving hardware issues such as motherboard failures, RAM issues, CPU malfunctions, and peripheral problems will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will also need to replace or upgrade hardware components when necessary and perform system tests to ensure hardware compatibility and stability. Collaboration with IT teams for seamless software-hardware integration, managing hardware inventory, orders, and documentation, providing support for network devices like routers, switches, and modems, as well as maintaining and repairing hardware used in internal departments such as CCTV and biometric systems will be essential aspects of your role. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest trends in computer hardware to deliver efficient solutions. To qualify for this position, you should hold a diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Previous experience as a hardware technician or in a similar role is required. Your expertise in hardware installation, repair, and maintenance, familiarity with system BIOS, firmware updates, and driver installation, ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics, exceptional problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will be highly valued. You must also demonstrate the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred qualifications include advanced hardware knowledge, experience with hardware-level diagnostics tools and software, and familiarity with assembling custom-built PCs and servers. The work environment for this role primarily consists of an office or IT lab setting with occasional on-site support for departments or clients, which may involve lifting heavy hardware items.
