Computer Aided Design Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and drafting process, prototyping and testing support, as well as documentation and communication. - Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for sheet metal and other components. - Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, and exploded views to support manufacturing processes. - Assist senior engineers in managing ECNs and implementing design improvements. - Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth prototype development. - Support in testing prototypes and document the results accurately. - Maintain precise design records and contribute to project execution. - Participate in team discussions and provide valuable inputs for design optimization. Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and drafting, FMEA, and DFMA. - Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and BOM preparation. - Basic understanding of ECNs and design iteration processes.
