Component Specialist Pitch & Yaw

Your Responsibilities

As part of our international engineering team, you will contribute to the development of electrical pitch and yaw systems used in our wind turbines. These systems typically include multiple frequency converters, motors, and, for pitch systems, an integrated energy storage solution.

Your key tasks will include:

• Designing and developing electrical components such as converters and motors for yaw and pitch systems
  
• Evaluating technical solutions, component sizing, and configurations proposed by external suppliers
  
• Supporting cross-functional teams including the nacelle factory, suppliers, global sourcing, SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance), and service departments
  
• Maintaining and updating pitch and yaw system models in

  MATLAB/Simulink

• Preparing technical documentation such as specifications, manuals, and technical bulletins
  

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on electrical drives or general electrical systems
  
• Proven experience in the design and certification (homologation) of electrical drive systems
  
• Advanced proficiency with

  MATLAB/Simulink

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  
• A proactive, confident, and dependable team player with strong communication skills
  
• Structured and independent working style with a focus on solutions, precision, and efficiency
  
• Strong intercultural awareness and experience collaborating in cross-functional, global teams
  
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%) for system testing at test benches
